The heart of the Ecotech H27 Panther remote-controlled track mower is the Japanese Honda iGXV800 two-cylinder, 26 horsepower gasoline engine. The oil pump with full pressure lubrication guarantees that the engine will always have optimal lubrication parameters, even when mowing on very steep slopes. The use of electronic fuel injection system (EFI), along with an advanced design of the combustion chamber and integrated digital ignition (CDI) with variable timing, ensure great fuel economy while maintaining high work efficiency. Electronic speed governor (STR) automatically adjusts the speed to engine load and changing ground conditions, autonomously managing key aspects of engine operation.
Ecotech Italia engineers managed to achieve a goal that many manufacturers of remote controlled slope mowers were not able to accomplish. Being able to produce a machine with an extremely low and wide structure and establishing the ideal center of gravity, made the machine capable to literally stick to the ground and maintain above-average traction on slopes of up to 65 degrees, both on natural slopes as well as those artificially made, unstable slopes present on highways. Regardless of the weather conditions, in the hands of an experienced operator, the Ecotech H27 Panther is able to cope with any task related to the maintenance of green areas.
Excellent traction on slopes and hillsides, as well as on dry and wet ground has been made possible due to track drive system with deep treads. Each track is equipped with a separate hydrostatic motor which, in combination with the hydraulic pump, ensures high sensitivity to steering, incredible maneuverability and work dynamics. The left and right track also have their own negative hydraulic brake that automatically engages when the drive on the H27 Panther mower is stopped. Brakes lock the machine in a given position, preventing it from reversing or sliding, even when the mower is on a steep slope.
Capable of mowing thick grass and self-sown plants on slopes, as well as wild shrubs, wastelands, plants with woody stems and trees up to 7 cm in diameter. The H27 Panther mower is features a welded mowing deck with a working width of 100 cm, equipped with blade holder with reversible movable blades mounted to the edges of the blade holder. The cutting system is made of impact-resistant, extremely resistant Hardox steel. The drive to the blades is transmitted by two thick V-belts, coated with Kevlar and adapted to work under heavy loads and at high temperatures. Regardless of the current rpm level of the engine, when the electromagnetic clutch is engaged, the electrical system automatically lowers the engine speed so that the tensioning of the belts is "smooth" and gentle, thus increasing the overall life of the blade belts.
The ability to operate in very unfavorable terrain conditions and at a considerable distance from the working area is ensured by the remote control system of the renowned Italian brand - Autec. To enable the machine maintain a straight line of travel, especially on steep slopes, Autec's team of specialists have created a personalized control system that allows the operator to maneuver the machine with two levers (up-down, left-right), while the separate potentiometer regulates the driving speed in the range from 0 to 100%. The new control system independently controls the speed of one track relative to the other to counteract the effect of gravity, thus improving stability on slopes and allowing the machine to move in a straight line.
Thanks to innovative technological solutions, the Ecotech H27 Panther remote-controlled mower is a machine that will be equally effective in mowing greenery on slopes as well as in wastelands and forest areas. The front overrun plate is mounted on two brackets which, in contact with a thick or tall object, raise the plate upwards, allowing the machine to safely and effectively "run over" the obstacle. A set of loosely falling metal chains safeguards against the ejection of dangerous objects (stones, roots) outside of the cutting deck.
To ensure optimal cooling of the fluids, especially in heavy-duty conditions, the hydraulic system is equipped with a heat exchanger with a cooling fan, which maintains a constant temperature of the oil supplied to the hydraulic pump. In order to ensure the optimal level of cooling, the fan automatically changes the direction of rotation, cleaning the radiator fins from any accumulated dirt. In order to achieve maximum safety and operator comfort, the Ecotech H27 Panther slope mower has been equipped with emergency STOP buttons, low fuel warning light and a beacon light.
Each track of the H27 Panther slope mower is independently activated by its own hydrostatic motor, making mowing in both directions, turning around (also with a zero turning radius) and changing direction very swift and dynamic. The ability to work in confined and narrow spaces is ensured by a compact design (143 x 172 x 90cm).
